Mr. Mazhar-ud-Deen has joined Fauji Oil Terminal & Distribution Company Ltd. (FOTCO) as Chief Operating Officer in March 2025. With a distinguished career spanning over 30 years in the oil and gas industry, he has held pivotal roles in global energy companies, including Shell and Gas & Oil Pakistan. His expertise encompasses sales, marketing, business development, CAPEX management, compliance, HSE, engineering, and talent development, consistently delivering strategic expansion and bottom-line results.
In his recent role as General Manager of Sales and Marketing at Gas & Oil Pakistan Limited, he played a pivotal role in expanding the nationwide retail network, optimizing supply chain operations, and driving business profitability.
During his 28-year tenure at Shell Pakistan Ltd., he demonstrated dynamic leadership across Retail, Aviation, Lubricants, and Marketing, driving business transformation and multimillion-dollar growth. His strategic initiatives led to successful business turnarounds, effective industry lobbying, crisis management, and B2B excellence, impacting markets across Pakistan, the Middle East, and beyond.
He holds an MBA in Marketing & MIS from the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi, and a Bachelor’s degree from Government College, Lahore. An alumnus of Aitchison College, he combines academic rigor with hands-on industry experience. Beyond his executive roles, he has served as a Board Director for Shell Oman Marketing SAOG and Shell Energy Pakistan, bringing governance expertise and adeptly translating strategic vision into successful execution.
Lieutenant Colonel Muhammad Mubin Arshad (Retired) joined FTTL Team as Company Secretary, on 9 Jan 23. Retired from Army, very recently, the Officer has a varied experience of 29 years to his credit. The Officer remained closely associated with various tiers of command, staff and instructional appointments He attained Masters Degree in ‘Art & Science of Warfare’ from Balochistan University. He is an alumnus of the prestigious Command & Staff Collage, Quetta. The Officer has vast experience in Human Resource, Administration and Security fields. His stint in Strategic Plans Division accrued him specialty in security. His tenure with HQ ISAF and NATO in Kabul (Afghanistan) as Liaison Officer – Intelligence, remained exceptional and was confered upon the NATO Medal in 2014. At present he is performing assigned duties with a resolve to deliver and be a worthy part of FTTL.
Mr. Muhammad Salik has been serving as the Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at FOTCO since November 2021, where he oversees the company’s financial strategy, governance, and operational management. He joined FOTCO in March 2008 as Assistant Finance Manager – Accounts & Taxation and has since progressed through various leadership roles, including Head of Finance in 2013 and General Manager Finance in 2019.
With over two decades of extensive experience, Mr. Salik is a seasoned finance professional with a proven track record in financial management, corporate governance, and business strategy. His expertise spans financial planning, treasury management, internal controls, compliance, and risk assessment, making him instrumental in driving the company’s growth and profitability. He has played a key role in two of the company’s mega projects: the establishment of the country’s second RLNG Terminal and the construction and commissioning of petroleum storage tanks with a capacity of 108,000 MTs.
Prior to joining FOTCO, Mr. Salik was associated with A.F. Ferguson & Co. (a PwC member firm) and KPMG Pakistan, where he gained valuable experience in auditing, assurance, and financial advisory services.
In addition, Mr. Salik served as Corporate Secretary of FOTCO’s subsidiary for over two years, contributing significantly to corporate governance and compliance initiatives.
Mr. Salik is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) and the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Pakistan (CPA). He also holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science & Technology (Szabist). Furthermore, he is a Certified Director from the Pakistan Institute of Corporate Governance (PICG) and a fellow member of the Pakistan Institute of Public Finance Accountants (PIPFA).
Mr. Syed Shujahat Hussain is affiliated with FOTCO since last 25 years and currently heading the Operation & Maintenance Department of the company. A Graduate from NED University of Engineering & Technology Karachi with a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Technology, Mr. Shujahat is a qualified Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO) along with certification of ISPS for Internal Auditor. He is a registered Engineer of Pakistan Engineering Council. During his tenure, FOTCO has completed various marine projects holding strategically significance.
Fahad Sohail Khan joined FTTL in February 2019 during construction phase as Project Manager and heading towards successful commissioning. Since being commissioned in January 2020, he is leading as Terminal Manager and look after all Operational, Maintenance and regulatory requirements of the Terminal. He Graduated in 2004 from NED University of Engineering & Technology in Mechanical Engineering.
He is a Safety-focused and strategically agile manager credited with over 18 years’ experience of Project Management, Operation & Maintenance and shutdown processes in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical sectors, and Steel DRI Plant.
He has been previously associated with well-known organizations like GATRON, Descon, Tuwairqi Steel, and with some well-known Contractors of Pakistan & UAE like Al Jaber Energy, IIW & EKL, where he performed a pivoted role to complete several projects including Construction of Karachi Hydrocarbon Terminal, Installation of Stacker Reclaimer, Ship-loader, Belt Conveyors & plant piping at Ruwais Sulphur Handling Terminal-2 for GASCO, Fire safety assurance project at ICI PPTA and plant shutdowns at FFBL, ICI PPTA, NRL & Engro Chemical Daharki
Mr. Naveed Uddin having Bachelors in Science from Hamdard University and PGDIT (CQU Australia) is an experienced and result oriented Senior Technology Executive with more than 15 years of rich experience in Information Technology; specializing in Software Development, Project Management, IT Management, and IT Governance. In his previous roles, he was Accountable for project management, strategic planning, software application development, technical project training, presentations, quality assurance, implementation and testing procedures and all related responsibilities that ensure successful delivery of projects. Currently, he’s heading FOTCO’s IT department and is keen in implementing modern and updated IT solutions including ERP and etc.
A graduate Engineer from UK with professional experience in Marine related projects, responsible for looking after the business aspects of the organisation. The objective is identifying new business opportunities including exploring new markets and creating new partnerships and ways with other businesses to increase revenue base.
